Dan Gilbert has done it again: Peace Lebron #NBA

    in Sports Dome

Well, let's keep this one short and sweet. The rumor is Lebron James plans to leave Cleveland after next season. We already know Kyrie is going to leave whether it's by a trade or when his contract ends in the very near future. The word over the past month is Kyrie plans to exit the CAVS because of Lebron, but this could be speculation. On the flip side, today it was reported that Lebron James is going to take his talents elsewhere because of the owner, Dan Gilbert.

Dan Gilbert is said to have donated $750,000 to Donald Trump's Inauguration and this is not sitting well with Lebron. Several NBA insiders have shared their views over the past 24 hours. Chris Sheridan, who has worked for the AP and ESPN and who scooped the story on LeBron James' return to Cleveland in 2014, says his source said LeBron is "100 percent" leaving the Cavs in free agency at the end of the season. Whether you like Lebron or not, he is one of the few legendary athletes who never shy away from current events and his feelings on issues outside of basketball.

We are in some interesting times in America. Sports and Politics are starting to truly clash. (Of course they have clashed in the past as well) Maybe people are tired of the way those in power are representing themselves. You can best believe there will be more situations like this in the coming days, months and years. This nation has some healing to do. Wow, what is going on in Cleveland?
